Mares
1. State of Maryland: $800.00
2. New Bolton Center: $514 (their fee includes: De-worming, Flu/rhino, EWT, Botulism #1, rabies, and West Nile). For additional mares belonging to the same owner, there is a reduction in fees of approximately $200/horse.
3. Rigbie Farm: $35/day for the quarantine period. $40 per day if the horse uses the walker. (Our rate begins on arrival day and ends on the day they leave. The usual stay is from 15-18 days.)
Total cost estimate range: $1840 - $2035.
Stallions
1. State of Maryland: $1200.00
2. New Bolton Center: $1050.00 +/- and includes the same vaccinations as mares. Because of the length of their stay, stallions will receive the second vaccinations to complete a primary series, except for Botulism which is a 3-shot series. This last vaccine will be given by the owner's veterinarian one month after the stallion is released.
3. Rigbie Farm board: $40 a day or $45 on the walker, plus $600 for each of the two test mares. The average stay is 32 days +/-.
